UL testing for flammability is shown and presents a lot of information relative to ratings of Expanded rigid PVC products. These tests only confirm the self-extinguishing properties and the lack of drips and flying brands.
Although there has been tunnel testing on these compositions, the data obtained is not really relevant to exterior building products and relates more to interior product where flame spread and smoke generation are contained to poorly ventilated areas.
